Position Highlights

Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. Employment offers, if accepted, are exclusively with Spencer Hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Works in collaboration with the Physicians of the Emergency Department

  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating ED patients

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program required

  • Master’s or doctorate degree required

Schedule:

  • 24 hours per pay period (not benefit eligible)

  • 10a-10p

  • Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the department
