An employer is looking for a motivated and accomplished Project Manager to join their infrastructure team in Lathrop, CA. The role requires a highly organized mindset, a passion for driving multi-disciplinary projects, and an unparalleled ability to pull people together to make things happen. This role will require excellent communication skills and an ability to self-learn and seek out solutions to problems. This programs schedules push the limits of what is physically possible. This requires you to be extremely detail oriented, identify real hard barriers, and drive the cross-functional teams to execute quickly at high quality. You will drive collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, Manufacturing and Production to ensure our team's goals are aligned with company priorities. You will work to understand the opportunities and challenges of each project, organize scattered information into a concise and complete message, document and communicate to every team member.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full design and engineering effort for construction and infrastructure development from concept to production to meet the organizations aggressive goals.

  • Dive deep to fundamentally understand and scrutinize technical stakeholders requirements and translate them into project scope with clear execution plan and responsibilities.

  • Manage all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the various cross-functional teams to ensure overall program alignment.

  • Synthesize and own report-outs, highlighting status, risks, mitigations and opportunities across all levels of management.

  • Troubleshoot walk down, and resolve control system issues that arise from the field.

Pay range for this role is $55 - $71 depending on years of experience and education.

Skills and Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience on industrial construction projects focused on MEP.

  • Knowledge of MS Office suite, excel, outlook, etc...

  • Proficient with RFI's, documentation, creating meeting agendas and taking meeting minutes.

  • Experience managing all aspects of technical planning, scope development, change management, programming, design, and engineering services during construction

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or construction management or related field.

  • Experience designing, building, and starting up control systems for large industrial construction projects in - Masters degree in Engineering, or construction management or related field.

  • Bluebeam.

  • Cost estimation and schedule development & tracking.

  • Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Refining, Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors or equivalent high tech facilities.
