Since its founding, Premier has grown its model of clinical excellence with the addition of three new clinical partners: Jen Atwood, Rick Beeson, and Andrew Fortner. The team at Premier has achieved ABPTRFE accreditation for our in-house Sports Residency and Orthopedic Residency Programs. Together, the team has created an environment to continue enabling the growth of physical therapists who have a patient-centered focus on the development of the highest clinical standards.
Premier PT is an outpatient orthopedic and sports physical therapy group treating musculoskeletal dysfunction and pain for all conditions. We specialize in orthopedic and sports physical therapy, dry needling, vestibular interventions, splinting and certified hand therapy, industrial injury prevention and rehabilitation, recovery from auto accident injuries, post-concussion treatment, balance training, post-surgical rehabilitation, athletic training, and the treatment and rehabilitation of all types of acute and chronic pain and injury conditions. We believe strongly in serving our communities, and we provide outreach Athletic Training services to nine Delaware high schools and multiple community sport organizations.

Job Description

Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance has an immediate opening for a motivated PRN or Part Time Physical Therapist with an entrepreneurial spirit for our fun and energetic outpatient clinic in Milford, DE. What You’ll Do:

Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
-
Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
-
Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
-
Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
-
Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
-
Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals

Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
-
Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
-
Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports
Qualifications
-
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy Program.

Current State of Delaware Physical Therapist license, CPR certification.

Outgoing and energetic personality.
