Job Duties

Purchasing Expeditor & Return Specialist

Pay Range: $21.00 – $25.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Are you a proactive communicator with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for keeping things running smoothly? We’re looking for a Purchasing Expeditor & Return Specialist to join our growing team! This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in staying organized, and knows how to build great relationships with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Position Summary:

As the Purchasing Expeditor & Return Specialist, you’ll be the critical link between our purchasing team, suppliers, and customers. Your main focus will be to track orders, manage delays, and ensure all parties are informed and aligned. You’ll also be responsible for handling product returns from start to finish, helping us maintain excellent service and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor purchase orders and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery

Communicate shipment status, delays, or cancellations with the purchasing team and customers

Update lead times and shipping expectations based on vendor updates

Record backorders and shipping details in the ERP system accurately

Contact suppliers to manage open orders and resolve outstanding invoices

Process and track product returns, including RMA requests, documentation, follow-up, and closing returns once credit is issued

What You’ll Bring:

Strong general office skills, including keyboarding and multi-line phone use

Excellent verbal and written communication

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Ability to juggle multiple tasks and follow through independently

Background in customer service and/or sales support

A proactive attitude with a problem-solving mindset
