Due to the development of John Deere Business Service Center in Poznań, we are currently seeking candidates for the position of:

SAP Solution Architect

Poznań, Poland

Your responsibilities: ​

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of Accounting and Finance technical solutions that will enable Finance to run their daily operations as efficiently as possible.

• Core Finance capabilities include Accounts Payable, Treasury, General Ledger, Travel Expense, etc.

• Translate business requirements into technical solution designs, and roadmaps.

• Execute proof-of-concept activities to validate technologies for a given purpose; work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to ensure desired capabilities are met.

• Partner closely with product management and engineering, maintaining a deep understanding of the organization's vision, intent, and roadmap for their digital products.

• Act as a technology leader, providing technical assistance, guidance, and guardrails for all technologies across multiple product teams.

• Deliver digital solution architecture services, prepare conceptual and logical architecture diagrams to align technical direction and document future-state architectures.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, IT, Security, Supply Chain) to ensure scalable, maintainable and secure, reliable deployments.

• Explore and develop a detailed understanding of emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization.

Our requirements:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in architecture, engineering or technical leadership.

• 5+ years of experience with SAP, including the modern technologies (e.g. S/4 HANA FI/CO, CPI, BTP, etc.).

• Experience with Accounting and Finance systems and tools.

• Experience with Cloud platforms, APIs and integrations.

• Demonstrated use of architecture principles and practices when making decisions and creating/designing solutions and associated work products.

• Critical thinking skills, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to model and communicate complex concepts in both written and verbal communication.

• Experience influencing without authority, communicating up, down, and across a large organization.

Nice to have: ​

• Understanding of AI-enabled Solutions and Automations

• Experience with modelling languages (such as UML or FMC), technical writing, decision analysis techniques, or exposure to Enterprise Architecture practices.

• Full stack analysis and troubleshooting experience, particularly in complex IT environments.

• Experience working in an Agile environment - understands planning cycles and architecture's role in delivering solutions.

• Experience working with products and teams that require a heavy degree of integration.

• Verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on persuasive communication, tact, and negotiation.
