As a Security Officer TWIC Required in Deer Park, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
-
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.

Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, vehicle, and contractor activity in accordance with site policies.

Prepare clear and accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrols, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
-
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.

Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
-
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
-
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
-
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
-
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
