Full job description

Estuary unifies CDC, batch pipelines, and streaming into one platform. Your Opportunity: As the first CSM, own post-sale relationships for data engineers/platform leads who depend on Estuary. Hybrid role: relationship owner and technical problem-solver, capable of resolving most issues and building the CS function from scratch (onboarding, health monitoring, playbooks). What You'll Do: - Build CS function (onboarding, health monitoring, account management). - Own the journey from onboarding through renewal/expansion. - Be primary point of contact; run meaningful business reviews. - Use AI tools to build dashboards and health views; track stakeholders and roles. - Monitor account health and get ahead of risk; troubleshoot/resolve most issues; loop in Solutions Engineering as needed. - Identify/drive expansion opportunities; act as internal advocate to Product/Engineering. What You’ll Bring: CS/TAM experience in SaaS/data infra/dev tools; builder’s instinct; comfort with APIs/databases/warehouses/ETL-ELT; ability to use AI tools to build reporting; strong account management/communication; proactive ownership. Nice to Have: Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Kafka/Fivetran/Airbyte; early CS hire experience; CDC/streaming familiarity.
