As a Security Officer Access Monitoring in Texas City, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and conduct routine patrols to help maintain a secure environment. What You'll Do:
-
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.

Monitor and control access at assigned entry points by verifying credentials, processing visitors and contractors, maintaining required access records, and communicating site entry requirements.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.

Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, access points, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access.

Complete accurate reports, logs, and shift communications related to access activity, incidents, and security-related observations.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
-
The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
-
Customer service experience is preferred.
-
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
