DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
-
The PACU Staff Nurse is a Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for the total nursing care of the patients during the immediate post-operative phase.
-
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Professional/Educational
-
Current Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license with biennial renewal and required CEUs.
-
Certified by the American Heart Association in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
-
Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.
-
At least one year clinical experience in Med/Surg Nursing.
-
Preferred experience in Critical Care, Operating Room Nursing PACU, or Emergency Room.
-
Basic computer skills.
-
DCFS Mandated Reporter Certificate of Completion required.
Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
