What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial lumber location.

Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, lumber storage areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.

Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and document entries and departures in accordance with site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and completing required reports.

Observe and report hazards, damaged fencing, unsecured doors, suspicious activity, and other security-related concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Customer service experience is preferred.
-
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
-
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
