Financial Close Integration Senior Specialist

Hybrid - Upon agreement between you and your supervisor, you are entitled to a flexible arrangement where you will be able to split your time between working from the office and working remotely. The Financial Close Integration Senior Specialist is responsible for coordinating the successful delivery of the Financial Closing Transformation Program by ensuring seamless integration between BlackLine, SAP Advanced Financial Closing (AFC), SAP S/4HANA, and related finance solutions.

This role acts as the central coordination point across functional teams, implementation partners, Finance stakeholders, and IT to ensure that project activities remain aligned, risks are proactively managed, and deliverables are completed according to the overall program roadmap.

The position combines functional understanding of Financial Close processes with strong coordination, planning, and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Integration & Delivery

• Coordinate the implementation activities across BlackLine, SAP AFC, SAP S/4HANA, and related Finance applications.

• Ensure alignment between project workstreams and overall program objectives.

• Monitor implementation progress, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.

• Support integrated solution design across Finance Closing applications.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business and technical teams.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities to improve implementation methodologies.

• Support future rollouts and expansion waves.

• Promote standardization across countries and business units.

• Contribute to lessons learned and best practices.

Governance & Documentation

• Maintain project documentation, implementation standards, and governance materials.

• Coordinate status reporting and steering committee presentations.

• Support decision-making by preparing project analyses and recommendations.

• Ensure alignment with GPO and program governance standards.

Project Coordination

• Maintain the integrated implementation roadmap.

• Coordinate project planning, resource alignment, and delivery schedules.

• Track project status and provide regular progress updates.

• Identify delivery risks, issues, and dependencies, proposing mitigation actions.

• Coordinate testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities.

Required skills and experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Finance Transformation, Process improvements, or ERP implementation projects.

• Experience coordinating cross-functional implementation activities.

• Understanding of Financial Closing processes.

• Experience working in international projects.

• Amenable to work in an EMEA shift schedule
