Production Operator

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00pm – 6:30am, Saturday and Sunday (plus your choice of Monday or Friday)

Equipment/Areas: PID, BM14, BM15, Braiders

Position Summary

The Production Operator – Shift 5 is responsible for safely operating and maintaining assigned manufacturing equipment (including PID, BM14, BM15, and Braiders) to produce high-quality products according to company standards. This role involves monitoring machine performance, completing quality checks, troubleshooting minor issues, and maintaining accurate production documentation during weekend and optional weekday shifts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor assigned production equipment (PID, BM14, BM15, Braiders) to ensure efficient and consistent output.

  • Conduct regular quality checks to meet production standards and document results as required.

  • Perform basic troubleshooting and adjust machinery to resolve issues and minimize downtime.

  • Complete production logs, material usage records, and other required documentation accurately.

  • Assist with set-ups, changeovers, and preventive maintenance tasks as needed.

  • Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a clean, organized work area.

  • Communicate equipment issues or production concerns to supervisors promptly.

  • Support team goals and assist coworkers as necessary to meet production targets.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment or in a production role preferred.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including safety and quality protocols.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.

  • Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills.

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work assigned weekend and weekday shifts.

  • Able to maintain accurate production and quality records.

Work Environment

  • Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and production noise.

  • Standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs) are required throughout the shift.
