Full job description

The Role Beacon acquires vertical market software companies and brings them onto a common operating standard. Integration is the function that runs the window between close and steady state, coordinating IT, Finance, GTM, Legal, and HR so that a newly acquired company lands cleanly rather than by improvisation.

You will run that window. Each integration is a fixed, fast-moving program with a defined start and a defined handoff, and you will be the person holding the plan, the cadence, and the escalations across every function involved. This is a hands-on role. You will drive the plan and you will do work inside it.

What You'll Do Run integrations from close to handoff. Own the integration plan for each acquisition: scope, sequencing, owners, and dates across every function. Drive the recurring cadence, keep the plan current, and land the handoff on time.

Be the coordination point for the acquired company. Work directly with the GM and their team through their first weeks inside Beacon. Translate between how they operate today and how Beacon operates, and make sure nothing lands on them twice or not at all.

Move companies onto the Beacon standard. Identity, devices, security baselines, and core business systems. You will partner with IT, Security, and the systems owners to sequence the migrations and to unblock them when they stall.

Hold the line on status. Report progress honestly to leadership, including the parts that are behind. Escalate early and with a recommendation attached rather than late and with a surprise.

Run and sharpen the playbook. Each integration should be faster and cleaner than the last. Find the steps that keep breaking, fix them in the playbook, and make the improvement stick across the next one.

Required

  • 5+ years in project or program management, running cross-functional programs end to end

  • Experience coordinating across IT, Finance, GTM, Legal, and HR, or an equivalent set of functions with competing priorities

  • Comfort with technical systems: identity, device management, and core SaaS platforms. You do not need to configure them, but you need to follow the work and ask sharp questions

  • Experience building process, templates, and structure where none existed

  • Strong written communication. Much of this job is a clear status update landing in the right inbox at the right time

  • A bias for action. You would rather move something forward than perfect the plan

  • The agility to adapt when a program changes shape mid-stream, and the confidence to get hands-on when it needs you

Nice to Have

  • Post-close M&A integration experience, in-house or in advisory

  • Exposure to IAM, MDM, or SSO rollouts

  • Exposure to SOC 2, ISO 27001, or SOX ITGC programs

  • Automation experience

  • A habit of spotting the smarter way to do something and then doing it
