As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government military location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to evolving situations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity. This armed role requires an active armed guard card or license.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or authorized guests while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable protocols.

• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, document visitor and vehicle activity, and report irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.

• Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.

• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
