Full job description
Reports to the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor. Under general direction, operates radiologic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic x-ray films as prescribed by physicians and perform diagnostic procedures according to established protocols.
Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies in all patient settings using proper technical imaging factors. Preforms quality diagnostic imaging studies observing Radiation Protection Standards. Provides for patient comfort, privacy, and safety. Administers Radiographic contrast and/or pharmaceuticals according to policy. Maintains patient records.
Graduate from an AMA approved Radiologic Technology School. ARRT registered.
Must have BLS/CPR by the American Heart Association.
