If you have a passion for helping others and want to work in a supportive environment, we want to hear from you! We are recruiting for a Special Needs, 24/7 client in Gilroy. We have openings for our evening shift 3:30pm - 11:00pm, as well as our overnight shift 11pm - 7am. Candidates with "Anytime Availability" will be given the highest priority in hiring selections. This assignment is very involved, and is not for caregivers who want companionship-only roles. Ongoing training. · 401K with Company Match once qualified · Supportive and respectful work environment & Direct Access to Ownership Responsibilities · Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation · Provide companionship and emotional support · Help with light housekeeping and laundry · Monitor and report changes in clients’ well-being or behavior · Follow care plans and safety protocols · Assist with medication reminders · Provide transportation or accompany clients to appointments as needed · Foster independence and promote social interaction Qualifications · Previous caregiver experience required · Must register as a Home Care Aide with CDSS · 18 years old and a High school diploma or equivalent · Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance are required · Ability to pass a live scan background check and drug screening · CPR certification · TB test or chest x-ray · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or disability or any other federal, state, or local protected class.
