Salaried, $63,000 - $75,000 DOE

RESPONSIBILITY:
Support the FP&A Manager and broader accounting team through accurate financial analysis, manufacturing cost support, variance analysis, and reporting. This role partners closely with Operations, Accounting, and Manufacturing to ensure financial data integrity, drive cost visibility, and provide actionable insights that improve business performance.
JOB DUTIES:

Support standard cost development for materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring assumptions reflect BOM accuracy, routing structures, cycle times, scrap, and setup.

Analyze manufacturing variances—PPV, material usage, labor efficiency, overhead absorption, mix/volume—and provide clear root‑cause explanations and action‑oriented recommendations.

Maintain costing files, system updates, and documentation to support inventory valuation and cost accuracy.

Support product and customer profitability analyses.

Partners with Operations and Engineering to quantify financial impact of continuous improvement, value‑added initiatives, and make‑vs‑buy decisions.

Prepares and distributes weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial and operational reports.

Supports KPI development and updates, including manufacturing metrics tied to production, cost, efficiency, and margins.

Ensure KPI methodologies are consistent with FP&A and Accounting standards.

Assist with budget and forecast cycles by gathering data, validating assumptions, updating models, and preparing reporting packages.

Helps translate production plans, business drivers, and operational trends into forward‑looking financial insights.

Supports ongoing improvements in forecasting accuracy, tools, and methodologies.

Participates in ERP or reporting system enhancements.

Performs other duties as assigned to support finance operations.

Provide backup coverage for General Accountant.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and orally.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.

1–3 years of experience in finance, cost accounting, or operations analysis; manufacturing preferred

Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, basic modeling)

Understanding of manufacturing cost structures (material, labor, overhead) preferred

High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
