The Traveling Project Specialist plays an important role in supporting our project teams and ensuring work moves smoothly from start to finish. This is an entry-level professional position designed for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in project management within the construction and telecommunications industry.
Location & Travel Requirement: Must reside in Minnesota and be willing and able to travel 50% - 74% along project routes from Minnesota into North Dakota.

What you’ll do
-
Production & Reporting: Daily entry and updating of production data, redline drawings, and completed work documentation.

Billing & Tracking: Maintain and update daily Excel billing templates to ensure accurate project accounting.

Plan Reading & Verification: Read and interpret construction/building prints to verify completed work against project plans.

Utility & Permitting Coordination: Utilize 811 ticket/locate experience to support safe project execution along active routes.

Project Support: Assist project managers and site teams with administrative and operational tasks to maintain workflow across project sites.
What you’ll need

Prior exposure to the construction or telecommunications industry is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data entry, templates, basic formulas).

Ability to read and understand building prints and construction drawings.

Experience with 811 call/ticket procedures is highly preferred.

Strong organizational abilities, high attention to detail, clear communication, and a strong drive to learn project management fundamentals.

Valid driver’s license required.
