What are your contributions to the team?

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial & Mechanical Engineer to optimize systems, improve processes, and design mechanical solutions that enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and cost-effectiveness. This hybrid role combines process optimization, manufacturing efficiency, and mechanical design expertise to support production, engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives.

How to thrive in this role?

Key Responsibilities

Industrial Engineering

  • Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase throughput.

  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct time studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.

  • Design facility layouts, production flows, and material handling systems.

  • Track productivity metrics and recommend operational improvements.

  • Partner with operations to enhance quality, safety, and cost performance.

  • Support inventory management, supply chain optimization, and demand planning.

Mechanical Engineering

  • Design, develop, test, and improve mechanical components and systems.

  • Create and maintain CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications using tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

  • Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses to ensure reliability and performance.

  • Oversee equipment installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development and manufacturing processes.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for mechanical failures.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent).

  • Experience with ERP systems, engineering software, and data analysis tools.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, including machining, fabrication, assembly, automation, and production systems.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

  • Experience with automation, robotics, and aerospace environments.

  • Knowledge of simulation and engineering analysis tools such as Arena, MATLAB, and ANSYS.

  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0 technologies, including IoT, data analytics, and smart manufacturing.
