Full job description

We are looking for a passionate Backend Engineer who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing our server-side applications and services. In this role, you will work closely with other engineers, product managers, and QA to translate requirements into scalable and reliable backend systems. You will have the opportunity to deepen your technical skills while contributing to impactful projects that support our product growth in Bibit

What You’ll Do

  • Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications in Node.js (JavaScript & TypeScript) and Golang.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, QA, and Frontend teams to deliver new features and improvements.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
  • Optimize existing services to improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Learn and apply modern backend technologies, tools, and architectures.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Hands-on experience with Node.js (mandatory: TypeScript); familiarity with Golang is a plus.
  • Understanding of coding standards and best practices in production environments.
  • Experience working with microservices architectures.
  • Familiar with message queues/streaming platforms (e.g., Amazon SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Kafka) is a plus.
  • Comfortable using Git/GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience deploying to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
  • Familiar with Linux-based environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  • Growth mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt
