Working Student - Finance Operations

Location: Berlin or remote for the suitable candidates of German universities Employment Type: Working student contract About Midas Midas is a platform for composable onchain investment products. We give investors exposure to institutional strategies, run by professional strategy managers, through our performance-linked mTokens. These tokens offer full transparency, instant redemptions, and native composability across DeFi. Founded in 2024 and backed by a $50M Series A, Midas has powered over $2B in asset issuance and paid out over $43M to investors. Now Midas is looking for outstanding talent to scale and execute our vision to make investing work like the internet: open, transparent, composable, and for everyone. Your Key Responsibilities As a Working Student at Midas, you will support finance and operations across our global teams and entities. You will play a vital role in helping scale, automate and optimise Midas’ internal processes. Your responsibilities may include:

• Maintain and improve internal administrative processes, workflows, and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and propose practical solutions
• Lead the implementation and rollout of new tools, processes, and operational improvements
• Apply AI tools to automate workflows, improve productivity, and help make our operations more efficient and scalable
• Support the Finance team with a wide range of day-to-day operational tasks including invoice processing, expense management, and accounting-related tasks
• Support HR processes, including employee onboarding and offboarding, organisation of company events, team offsites, travel, and other internal rituals
• Support KYB/KYC onboarding with service providers across multiple Midas entities and jurisdictions
• Support internal knowledge management by maintaining and expanding our business and operations documentation

What We Are Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Management, or a related field
• Intrinsic curiosity in fintech, crypto and startup culture
• AI-first mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools to improve productivity and automate workflows
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities calmly and efficiently
• High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism
• Reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of tasks
• Fluent in English and German
• Based in Berlin
• Ideally, previous experience in administration, operations, finance, or a similar role through internships, working student positions, or student assistant roles
