Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves operating chop saws to remove ceramic material, filter balls, and rods from aerospace parts, as well as cutting metal parts to client specifications. You will be responsible for lifting up to 50 lbs, operating computers to insert data on finished parts, and reading and interpreting work instructions. Occasionally, you will use mics and gages to ensure specifications are met.

Responsibilities

  • Operate chop saws to remove ceramic material from aerospace parts.

  • Utilize measuring equipment to ensure specifications are correct.

  • Cut metal parts to the specifications of aerospace clients.

  • Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

  • Operate computers to input data on finished parts.

  • Read and interpret work instructions.

  • Occasionally use mics and gages to ensure accuracy.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of manufacturing experience.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.

  • Mechanical aptitude.

  • Computer literate with experience using computers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in general labor, production, and saw operation.

  • Skills in grinding, wood cutting, and construction.

  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machine operations.

  • Familiarity with measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures, and bandsaws.

This position is based in a smaller facility equipped with four different saws and a warehouse containing chemicals for cleaning finished metal parts. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chagrin Falls, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
