Position Summary As the Distribution Center Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of 25-45 colleagues at CVS Health’s state of the art distribution facility. This includes planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and supervising the daily activities of an assigned shift and functional area to achieve performance goals and metrics within the distribution center. Selected candidate will need to have flexibility of working 1st shift hours of 5:00am up to 3:00 pm, possible shift coverage for a few weekends as needed, for colleagues that are on vacation

Primary Responsibilities: ∙ Hiring, on-boarding, training, scheduling, and assigning work to new hires ∙ Ensuring employees have the necessary equipment, materials, and documents to ensure successful completion of tasks ∙ Monitoring and adjusting resources to achieve the daily production and delivery goals ∙ Balancing workloads by taking readings throughout the day to achieve the appropriate level of volume by the projected time of completion ∙ Monitoring the work performance of each employee to ensure that quality and quantity expectations are met or exceeded ∙ Conducting staff meetings and verifying that daily worksheets are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis ∙ Providing ongoing training and retraining of employees to ensure that they are prepared to meet or exceed the productivity standards for their function ∙ Utilizing a variety of reports, summaries, and procedures to project workload and resolve problems that arise during the workday ∙ Communicate effectively across all levels ∙ Analyzing information effectively to make sound business decisions ∙ Build high-performance teams while engaging and inspiring colleagues

  1. Assists with coordination of processes and assignments for the distribution area to ensure the delivery of consistent work products. - 40%
  • Executes daily activities and operational plans for the distribution area's strategies to enhance the culture of excellence and innovation across the enterprise.

  • Manages day-to-day operations in a warehouse section to ensure daily targets are met or exceeded.

  1. Conducts performance appraisals using various reports, summaries, and procedures as necessary to resolve problems and improve employee efficiency and warehouse operations. - 20% Analyzes reports and provides recommendations to the operations manager on best practices for the section. Coordinates processes and assignments for areas within the warehouse to achieve a balanced workload and meet daily operational metrics. Assurance on time deliveries and customer service.

3.Defines terms for conducting tasks and establishes new priorities for assignments to meet operational success. - 20% Manages team performance through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional services and engagement, motivation, and team development.

Required Qualifications ∙Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a distribution/manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications ∙Warehouse Management Systems experience ∙MS Office experience ∙Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees. ∙Ability to analyze information effectively and consistently. ∙Ability to complete assignments within established timelines. ∙Ability to complete work under general supervision. ∙Bachelor’s Degree ∙Experience working in Union Facility

Education: Verifiable High School Diploma/GED required

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $93,574.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
