Salary Range: $69,000.00 To $71,000.00 Annually

REPORTS TO: Senior Project Manager

STATUS: Full-Time

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for supervision of case management and outreach staff.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Family Support Specialist Manager directs family support services, referrals, and community service coordination to foster economic self-sufficiency and improve the quality of life for residents, leading a team to ensure family stability and success.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead family support meetings, analyze data, and coordinate strategies to meet performance measures.

  • Conduct intake, assessments, and home visits, assisting residents with development plans and service navigation.

  • Maintain confidentiality and track resident data in LEARN.

  • Attend community meetings and participate in program-related meetings.

  • Providing resources and knowledge for clients to access capital, including loans for financial goals like housing and consumer products, to build credit, reduce debt, and support wealth growth through entrepreneurship.

  • Offering consultation services in financial management and goal-setting.

  • Hosting in-person and virtual seminars for clients seeking financial literacy management resources and capital access.

  • Supporting and promoting the development of the USI CDFI client base.

  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and travel as needed.

  • Perform additional assigned duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, or relevant field, or equivalent education/experience.

  • 5 years of nonprofit or human services experience providing assessments, referrals, and follow-up.

  • Supervisory experience preferred.

  • Commitment to family-focused service planning and program philosophies.

  • Ability to handle privileged information confidentially and culturally sensitive.

  • Availability to work evenings/weekends as needed.

  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Ability to analyze data and design programs based on resident-driven and data-driven rationale.

  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and load/unload materials as needed.

  • Comfortable working independently and in a team environment.

  • Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite and other software.
