Full job description

The CMH Orthopedic Manager provides leadership, supervises, and coordinates activities of hospital-owned Orthopedic clinic. This position plans for and develops clinical programming in clinics, assuring optimal quality care and continuity for patients and families. Responsible for overseeing day-to-day business and/or clinical operations. Responsible for administrative oversight and supervision of all clinical and administrative staff to enhance the quality of care to clinics’ customers. Plans for and oversees annual budgets.

Job Requirements Knowledge of/Skill/Ability to: Strong analytic skills; Problem-solving and organizational skills; Communications, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills; Leadership and planning skills; Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary setting; General clinical office procedure and practices; Participate in and promote teamwork in a clinical setting. License/Certification N/A if the manager is not working in a clinical capacity. If the manager is working in a clinical capacity, the following is required: Managers must provide proof of clinical training appropriate to the responsibilities of the duties they are filling and must maintain accordingly. If a registered nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): must have a current unencumbered Oregon and Washington State RN or LPN license. Current BLS through the American Heart Association

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education preferred. Previous clinic office management experience is required. Orthopedic experience preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment Conditions / ADA Compliance Works inside. Walking and standing much of the time while on duty. Long shifts are necessary at times. Subject to occasional physical and emotional stress within a fast-paced environment. Tolerates bending, sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling for 8 – 12 hours (shift dependent).
