Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.

• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.

• Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.

• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.

We are offering $20,000 sign on bonus in addition up to $8,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the elgibility

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

• RN License in state of employment

• Basic Life Support American Heart

• NIHSS with in 6 months of hire or internal transfer

• Physical Requirements: Medium Work exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10lbs. constantly

Preferred

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing

• One (1) year experience

Where You'll Work

The Telemetry Unit department at Longmont United Hospital has 36 beds, we treat anything heart related. We are part of a small community hospital and fill the niche for step down and med/surg overflow with a variety of acuity patients on our floor, as well as cardiac cath recovery. Our patient mix includes those with pacemaker, stroke, heart attack, arrythmia and those with medication needs. The culture is one of prevalent kindness where we embrace new associates. We offer great schedules where new grads can learn. Pay Range

$33.15 - $59.67 /hour
