Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED and up to two (2) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 1 (Hourly)

Position Description:

The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is seeking a Dental Receptionist to work at the UofL Dental Associates faculty private practice clinic located at 501 S. Preston Street, Louisville, KY.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Greet, direct and interview patients.

Enter demographic data in the computerized patient information system.

Answer telephone calls and handle inquiries.

Schedule patient appointments.

Compile patient charts.

Serve as cashier; accept payments from patients; enter financial data into computer; issue receipts; balance cash drawer at end of day; set up payment contracts; work with insurance companies to obtain pre-authorizations; track payments and troubleshoot issues.

Additional HIPAA / privacy training upon hiring; Infection Control training.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
