Reporting to the Director of Alumnae/i Relations, the Alumni Coordinator will be part of The Office of Alumnae/i Relations, within the Office of Advancement at Russell Sage College. This position works closely with the director, advancement and campus partners to strengthen partnerships and develop opportunities to increase and deepen lifelong alumnae/i engagement and support institutional priorities. The alumni coordinator is responsible for supporting all activities of the RSCAA (Alumnae/i Association) and the Office of Alumnae/i Relations.

Some key responsibilities include the following:

  • Support/attend alumnae/i and college events (most occur on nights and weekends)

  • Communications and Data Management including online registration and social media

  • Volunteer engagement

  • Administrative Support to the Office of Alumnae/i Relations and the Director of Alumnae/i Relations

  • Provide support for the Alumnae/i House facility, including its use by alumnae/i and other Guests

  • Foster positive relations among the RSC alumnae/i and with on-campus partners

  • Provide information and services to alumnae/i both proactively and in response to requests to ensure strong connections to Russell Sage College.

  • Pursue other projects and activities as assigned.

This position currently qualifies for a "flexible work arrangement" as defined by the RSC Remote and Flexible Work Policy. Work can be performed in part on-site at RSC and in part at an off-campus location via telework. Hours performed off campus must be approved by the supervisor.

The estimated wage is $28.20 per hour for 37.5 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Highly effective written and oral communications skills

  • Creativity

  • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain focus and meet deadlines

  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally and work evenings and weekends when necessary.
