Primary Care RN - Urgent Care (Local Contract)
Lynn, Massachusetts | 13-Week Contract | 40 Hours/Week
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Primary Care/Urgent Care contract opportunity with a community-based healthcare organization. This is a 13-week assignment with an immediate start for a highly skilled RN who thrives in a fast-paced ambulatory care environment.
Position Highlights

Contract Length: 13 weeks to start (possibility for extension)

Start Date: ASAP

Required Availability: Must be available to work Mondays 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM, rest of the week is flexible to get to 40 hours

Orientation: First week of assignment

Pay Rate: $57/hour
Responsibilities
The Primary Care Nurse provides comprehensive patient care within an ambulatory and urgent care setting. Responsibilities include:

Triage patients by phone and in person to determine urgency and appropriate level of care
-
Perform patient assessments and provide health education to patients and families
-
Administer medications and immunizations according to provider orders and standing protocols
-
Conduct point-of-care testing and clinical procedures
-
Monitor and manage at-risk patient populations
-
Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
-
Maintain infection prevention and control standards in all clinical settings
-
Support clinic flow and assist care teams in meeting patient needs
-
Provide guidance regarding treatment plans, follow-up care, and home care instructions
Community Outreach Opportunities
As needed, the RN may participate in community health initiatives, including:

Health fairs and educational events

School and daycare health consultations

Community health education and counseling programs
