Salary Range: $19.00 To $21.00 Hourly
Outreach is seeking 2 qualified candidates for the position of Part-Time Overnight Counselor to work in our Women's residential facility. The Overnight Substance Abuse Counselor is responsible for overseeing the health and welfare of all residents in the program. The schedule for this position is: Friday 11:00pm - Saturday 9:00am and Saturday 11:00pm -Sunday 9:00am, OR Friday and Saturday 11p-7am. Flexibility in the schedule is required.

Initial and ongoing screening of resident and resident property in accordance with unit procedure.

Supervise clients in self-medication (under supervision).

Conduct health and welfare checks in accordance with unit policy and procedures

Communicate all pertinent information, incidents and emergencies using the appropriate system including the SAC communication log, incident reports and 24 hour on-call supervisor.

Provide crisis interventions and follow up including documentation of the incident, accident and/or elopement reports.

Overall supervision and management of client population in the facilitation of the daily house schedule.

Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:

Bachelors, CASAC-T; will consider CASAC-T eligible or transferable skills in residential care with adolescents

1 year of experience working with clients with substance abuse disorders.

1 year of experience working with adolescents with co-occurring and mental health problems.

1 year of experience working in an OASAS funded facility a plus

Commitment to providing quality services and outcome driven performance measures.

Strong networking and public relations skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders, populations, and cultures.

Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people.

Position requires standing for long periods of time in order to ensure proper floor supervision of clients.

Must be able to work with high risk adolescents
