Maintenance Technician | Lyons, Georgia

Full-time | Contract-to-Hire

Daylight shift, no evenings or weekends

Targeted pay rate: $25-35/hr depending on qualifications

Kelly Engineering seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client’s team. In this role, you’ll support advanced robotics and automation systems at the client location by performing preventive and predictive maintenance and troubleshooting issues.

Recent graduates of mechatronics and electrical technical schools are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and preventative maintenance tasks on systems and machines

  • Work both autonomously and collaboratively

  • Assist with installation and deployment of new systems or machines

  • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed

  • Submit daily or weekly activity reports and coordinate closely with the sites team leaders to prioritize work

What You’ll Need:

  • 1 - 5 years of maintenance experience

  • Good general knowledge and competency in mechanical and electrical maintenance operations

  • Strong communication skills

  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel, Slack, CMMS, SharePoint)

  • Experience using multimeters

  • Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Exposure to robotics

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, or material handling automation

  • Certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, Scissor Lift

Ability to meet physical demands of job:

  • Use and manipulation of standard hand tools

  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Working from heights of up to 50 ft

  • Use and operation of lifts with a manufacturer?rated capacity of 250 lbs., including tools and equipment (approximately 30 lbs.)

  • Stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling to access and repair equipment at ground level

  • Working on overhead equipment, including extended reaching and manual dexterity
