Full job description

GENERAL SUMMARY

Performs general operation, repairs and maintenance to buildings, equipment, and grounds. Per engineering direction, performs project and system modifications to Energy Northwest office complexes, shops, warehouses, mobile buildings, grounds and equipment, both leased and owned; interfaces with management, engineering, and technical employees, and works independently. Operates a large variety of tools, equipment, and motorized vehicles.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Independently performs facility maintenance, such as plumbing, lavatory fixtures, grounds equipment (power and non-power), basic modifications in carpentry, taping, plastering, painting and roofing.

  • Operates a large variety of tools, equipment, and various motorized vehicles.

  • Perform grounds maintenance, including irrigation installation and repair, lawn trimming fertilizing, herbicide and insecticide application, snow and ice removal.

  • Work independently or coordinate the work performed by Service Persons I.

  • Assist other building maintenance personnel.

  • Perform other tasks as required, including normal functions of Service Person I.

  • Maintain up-to-date Facilities log.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Requires a high school diploma or GED and two years of Service Person I experience, or completion of second year of a state approved apprenticeship program, or two years general building maintenance or grounds care, or two years industrial work experience.

This is a bargaining unit position and the hourly pay rate is:

$26.91

Pay In Lieu of Benefits Amount:

$0.75
