Position Summary
The Logistics Team Member focuses primarily on order fulfillment, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and pack products based on customer orders to meet shipping deadlines.
Shipping & Distribution: Prepare orders for shipment, including labeling, packing, and coordinating with carriers.
Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Quality Control: Inspect outbound orders for accuracy, ensuring products are damage-free and properly packed.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Documentation: Complete required paperwork and electronic records related to outbound shipments.
Personal Attributes and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment preferred.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners is a plus.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions within the warehouse environment.
Work Environment
May involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods. Flexible shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on operational needs.
