Associate Manager, Inside Sales Description - Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for managing a team of inside sales representatives and/or supervisors to achieve revenue goals. The role collaborates with management to align strategies, refine sales approaches, and optimize operations. The role drives initiatives, manages talent, and stays updated on market trends while achieving and/or exceeding quotas.

Responsibilities

  • Leads a team of inside sales representatives and/or supervisors, providing guidance to accomplish revenue and expense targets effectively.
  • Collaborates with management to ensure team strategies are aligned with broader sales and business objectives.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and concerns to ensure long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Assists the team in meeting sales goals by refining call strategies, offering market perspectives, and executing process enhancements.
  • Compiles and delivers regular performance reports, highlighting sales progress, addressing challenges, and exploring opportunities.
  • Acts as a point of escalation for customer issues, ensuring timely resolution of sales-related concerns.
  • Initiates outbound marketing campaigns, explores installed base opportunities, and drives strategic initiatives as required.
  • Oversees day-to-day sales operations, identifying areas for refinement and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Manages talent pipeline through recruitment, performance evaluation, training initiatives, and career advancement support.
  • Stays updated on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences, sharing insights with the team to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of job-related experience or 2-4 years of management experience, preferably in inside sales or tele sales, or a related field.

Salary: The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $88,400 to $128,200 USD annually with a 60%/40% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
