Full job description

Job Summary:Responsible for assembling parts, wiring, and adjusting precision units to produce products at floor stations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements

  • Assembles, tests and repairs precision components and units.

  • Examines component parts for defects.

  • Measures parts to ensure conformance to specified dimensions.

  • Trims and smooth parts using tools to ensure fit.

Qualifications:

  • Performs work under direct supervision.

  • Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

  • Possesses beginning to work knowledge of subject matter.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment up to 40 pounds.

  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, walk, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time.

  • Comfortable working in a shop environment that may include noise, machine operation, metal chips, oils and varying temperatures.

Salary Range:

  • $19.60 - $22.00/hour based on experience
