Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the production and operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Tech

Location: Lincoln, NH

Pay Range:

Shift: 3rd Shift: 11pm-7:30am, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

  • Repair and maintain building systems, machinery, and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

  • Observe mechanical devices in operation, listen to their sounds, and identify causes of trouble.

  • Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, ensuring proper functioning.

  • Inspect parts for imperfections, measure and adjust components, and lubricate machinery as needed.

  • Use welding equipment, machine tools, and hand tools to repair machinery and perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting.

What's Needed?

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.

  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, bend, kneel, and climb as required.

  • Experience with PVC, CPVC, and black steel pipe is preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
