Legal Counsel Department: Global Legal Support Employment Type: Full Time Location: Nepal

Description We’re looking for a proactive Legal Counsel to support our operations across up to three countries in the region. This role involves providing legal advice on a wide range of matters - from commercial contracts and civil law to marketing, fintech, and digital regulation - ensuring compliance and helping build efficient, business-oriented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support for operations in up to three countries.

  • Advise on civil, commercial, consumer, marketing/advertising, and digital law matters.

  • Review contracts and policies, and assist in claims resolution.

  • Monitor upcoming regulations and prepare legal analysis.

  • Ensure compliance with local laws and internal standards.

  • Support marketing and media campaigns with legal review.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on regional and global projects.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • 3-5 years of experience as an in-house counsel or in a law firm supporting IT or tech companies.

  • Experience in civil, commercial, consumer, and media/advertising law.

  • Familiarity with fintech and digital platforms regulation is an advantage.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in English (C1–C2 or equivalent); local language proficiency required.

  • Experience in international environments is a plus.
