Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing start to finish cleaning and sanitation of production lines. Also, disassembling and assembling equipment for the purpose of cleaning and inspection. This position will support Operations and run productions lines when sanitation is not required.

Accountabilities :

  1. Safety 1st. Follow all workplace safety rules.

  2. Participatefrom start to finish in sanitation of production lines and maintain sanitation completion time per the Master Sanitation schedule.

  3. Clean equipment as described by SSOP and to USDA standards.

  4. Participate in disassembly and reassemblyof equipment, with or without guidance.

  5. Follow and execute cleaning schedules/requirements.

  6. Ability to communicate problems or issues to production leadership to address concerns of product waste, quality or employee safety.

  7. Comply with applicable environment, health and safety rules, procedures, laws and accepted safe work practices.

  8. Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions and injuries to the appropriate person or office.

  9. Carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing/food processing facility preferred but not required.
