Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector that will be responsible for performing receiving, in-process, and final inspections to ensure materials, components, and finished products meet quality and regulatory standards. This individual will utilize precision measuring equipment, maintain inspection records, support continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in training junior inspectors.
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Perform receiving inspections on incoming materials and components.

Conduct in-process and final inspections of subassemblies and finished products.

Read, interpret, and follow inspection procedures, engineering drawings, sampling plans, and workmanship standards.

Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO, safety, and company policies and procedures.

Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and electronic test equipment.

Maintain receiving inspection records and accurately enter required data into company systems.

Process and document nonconforming materials through Discrepancy Reports (DRs).

Assist with the training and development of Quality Inspector I personnel.

Create and maintain inspection procedures, Engineering Change Orders (ECOs), and Discrepancy Reports (DRs).

Generate inventory status reports and reconcile discrepancies as needed.

Perform Oracle transactions, including product acceptance, product delivery, BOM generation, and related system activities.

Provide recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Support daily operations by addressing routine questions and resolving minor issues in the supervisor's absence.
