MIG Welder – All Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
Shifts:
1st shift: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
2nd shift: 3:30 PM – 11:00 PM
3rd shift: 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Job Overview:
We are hiring MIG Welders to work in a manufacturing environment welding mild steel. You will work in your own welding booth and complete parts based on production goals.
Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on mild steel (mostly 12 gauge)

Weld in horizontal and vertical positions
-
Use grinders and basic hand tools
-
Read blueprints when needed
-
Move materials using carts
-
Meet production goals
-
Keep work area clean and safe
Requirements:

MIG welding experience

Ability to read a tape measure
-
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
-
Experience using hand tools (grinders, wrenches, etc.)

Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of University Park, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
