Job Duties

Labor & Delivery RN | 36-Hour Guaranteed Workweek | Critical Access Hospital | Minnesota

Summary

Are you a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, teamwork, and practicing at the top of your license?

Schedule

  • Guaranteed 36-hour workweek

  • 7:00am 7:00pm

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week (or as assigned by the facility)

  • Labor & Delivery with Medical-Surgical float responsibilities based on patient census

What You Will Do

  • Care for patients throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum.

  • Monitor maternal and fetal health during labor.

  • Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries.

  • Perform newborn assessments and stabilization.

  • Educate patients and families on postpartum and newborn care.

  • Float to the Medical-Surgical unit as needed.

  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a community-focused hospital.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active RN License

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • NRP Certification

  • Labor & Delivery experience

Preferred

  • Critical Access Hospital experience

  • Medical-Surgical experience

  • Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting
