Full job description

The Ecommerce/Inventory Specialist is responsible for e nsuring accuracy in completion of all warehouse activities from staffing for shipment days to ensuring accuracy of documents received and entered the computer system.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure accuracy in completion of all warehouse activities from staffing for shipment days to ensuring accuracy of documents received and entered the computer system.

  • Communicate and verify all discrepancies.

  • Quality control (checking for damaged product)

  • Assist staff by helping with the opening of boxes, separating the product out by which location it goes to.

  • Count product and fill out accompanying paperwork needed for second stage receiving and organize product according to its required destination.

  • Apply price tags to all products.

  • Bin product in proper locations in the distribution center.

  • Rotation of stock to make sure the oldest product is used first to prevent expiration of the items.

  • Re-organizing existing items in the warehouse to make room for new items and large shipments or to prioritize the items according to need.

  • Perform inventories and Cycle Counts

  • Deliver product to the correct locations throughout the ERC.

  • Adhere to all safety policies to ensure personal safety, the safety of guests and fellow coworkers

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the Warehouse.

  • Ability to understand a planogram for design layout.

  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2-3 years retail experience

  • 1-2 years previous supervisory experience

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with Retail team members

  • Ability to resolve and remedy guest complaints, concerns and questions

  • Basic computer knowledge

  • Strong verbal and written communication

  • Must have retail/merchandising knowledge

  • Strong listening and communication skills

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Stand/move about – Frequently, 90% of time

  • Kneel/bend – periodically, 30% of time

  • Reach at or above shoulder level – frequently, 50% of time

  • Reach at or below shoulder level – frequently, 50% of time

  • Handle large items such as boxes and packages – periodically, 30% of time

  • Perform repetitive motion – periodically, 30% of time

  • Stoop/squat – periodically, 40% of time.

  • Lift up to 30lbs –occasionally, 30% of time

  • Lift up to 50 lbs. – infrequently, 10% of time
