ABOUT US

Our mission at Avelios is to unlock clinical data to power seamless healthcare operations for better patient care. To do so, we have built a modular software platform that digitizes and optimizes workflows in hospitals with cutting-edge technology in a user-friendly way. With our software, we enable hospitals, doctors & nurses to provide their patients with the best possible care. We are growing fast and want to keep expanding our team and business to fundamentally digitize healthcare for the better. We appreciate different backgrounds and see diversity as one of our strengths.

THE TEAM AND YOUR ROLE

To further shape the future of healthcare, we are looking for a (Senior) Sales Manager (all genders) who will actively drive our sales pipeline and help expand Avelios’ impact across the clinical sector. In this role, you play a key part in growing our customer base and ensuring that hospitals across Germany benefit from our software platform.

You will work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Product, and Customer Success to manage the entire sales cycle — from identifying and qualifying prospects to closing deals and supporting long-term customer relationships. This role offers a unique opportunity to help shape the commercial strategy of a fast-growing health-tech company and make a meaningful contribution to improving healthcare delivery.

YOUR TASKS

  • Taking full ownership of the entire B2B sales process — from first contact to contract signature

  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales experience and successful implementation

  • Qualifying leads, advising potential customers, and converting them into long-term, satisfied partnerships

  • Developing tailored proposals that align customer needs with Avelios’ business objectives

  • Creating and refining sales strategies, presentations, and market analyses to expand the pipeline

  • Building and maintaining a strong network within the healthcare and hospital ecosystem

  • Tracking and reporting key sales KPIs to continuously improve forecasting and sales processes

  • Acting as a trusted point of contact for prospects and customers, clearly communicating product value to diverse stakeholders

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed degree in business, engineering, medicine, or a comparable field

  • Strong experience in B2B software sales — ideally in healthcare or the hospital environment

  • Proven track record of acquiring new customers and driving measurable commercial impact

  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills across different audiences

  • Strong interest in digital health and solid technical understanding of software products

  • Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong execution capability

  • Independent, hands-on working style and enthusiasm for driving customer success

  • Fluent German skills and very good English skills

YOUR BENEFITS

  • Variety in your tasks and the opportunity to take ownership

  • An international, informal team structure in a motivating start-up atmosphere, allowing you to participate directly in our customer growth story and the overall success of Avelios

  • Ability to gain valuable hands-on experience in a startup backed by leading international VCs

  • Support for your personal development through continuous learning and feedback

  • Set your own rhythm with flexible working hours and trust-based time tracking

  • A virtual stock option package (VSOP) that lets you participate in Avelios’ long-term value creation

  • A monthly meal allowance up to 75 euros, full coverage of the Deutschlandticket, Urban Sports Club or a subsidized Wellpass membership, a bike leasing program and Corporate Benefits that give you access to discounts from a wide range of providers in various areas
