Job Duties
Position Objective: Regional Sales Agronomist will add value through expertise and service to our patrons, enhancing the bottom line of the CFS Agronomy division.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Complete sales calls to maintain current business and expand CFS footprint
Pre call planning

Follow up
Collaborative on-farm approach
Proficient in Central Advantage
Use our internal ag technology platform to make data-based recommendations for our patrons
Become an expert in Central Advantage philosophies and management recommendations
Develop and maintain agronomy expertise
Attend regular internal and external agronomy and sales trainings
Seek individual learning and development opportunities
Complete agronomy talent development program upon start
Know and follow CFS agronomy SOPs, BMPs, Credit Policy and other initiatives
Continually seek and pursue growth of all agronomy products and services
Build and maintain relationships with growers through service and expertise
Know and follow all company safety policies/procedure. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance
Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or management, could include agronomy operations

Sales training
Minimum Experience Required

Licensing, Certification and Qualification:
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with haz-mat endorsement, or ability to obtain one within 6 months of employment
