Full job description

About Replika Replika is an AI companion loved by 35M+ users around the world. We’re redefining what it means to connect with technology – emotionally, intelligently, and personally. From mobile to VR, we’re building an experience that feels less like software and more like someone who gets you.

We’re scaling fast and taking on bold challenges to become the most human AI on the planet.

About the role

Brand Design Manager We’re building a brand-new product from scratch, and we need someone to design what it actually is — not the buttons, the product. This is a conceptual role: you invent the functions, the moments, the way the whole thing works and feels, from a blank page. You’re not polishing UI. You’re deciding what the product does and why it matters in someone’s life. Move fast, ship working concepts, learn, and go again. We care less about a perfect pixel and more about ideas nobody else would have had.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design the product itself, not just the interface — the functions, the experience, the way it works, invented from a blank page.

  • Turn our AI and technical capabilities into functions that actually change someone’s day — their outlook, perspective, productivity, or the experiences they have.

  • Bring the ideas. Unique concepts, new mechanics, things that don’t exist yet. This role lives or dies on originality.

  • Ship working concepts fast. A rough thing people can feel beats a beautiful deck describing it. Prototype, test, learn, repeat.

  • Hold the “one of a kind” bar — reject the obvious, the derivative, the good-enough, and push for the version only this product could be.

  • Work directly with product, engineering, and the founders to take a concept from idea to something real in the product.

What We’re Looking For

  • A concept-first designer. You design what a product does and how it feels, not just how it looks. You’ve invented product experiences, not just executed someone else’s spec.

  • Genuinely original ideas. You can point to things you’ve made that were new — concepts other people hadn’t thought of, that actually worked.

  • A deep sense for great products. You know what makes something amazing and one of a kind versus competent and forgettable, and you can say exactly why.

  • You turn capability into meaning. Handed a raw technical ability — say, a new AI capability — you can see the function it should become, the one that improves a user’s life.

  • A bias for speed. You ship working concepts fast and learn from them. You don’t disappear for weeks to perfect a pixel.

  • Comfortable at ground zero. Blank page, no patterns, no spec — that’s where you do your best work.

  • Hands-on and self-directed. You bring the ideas and drive them. Nobody’s hovering.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with AI, conversational, or emotionally engaging products — turning novel technology into human experiences.

  • You’ve taken a product concept from nothing to something people actually used and loved.

  • A body of work that shows range and originality — concepts, prototypes, products — not just screens.

  • You prototype in whatever gets the idea across fastest: Figma, motion, code, paper, Keynote, whatever works.

  • You already use AI tools to explore ideas and move faster.

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive compensation.

  • Flexible job schedule and generous vacation policy.

  • Unlimited access to the latest AI coding assistants.

  • No corporate bs.

  • Direct impact on millions of worldwide users within months.

  • Push the boundaries of applied AI in a consumer setting.

  • Fully remote.
