Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced MIG / TIG Welders for projects located in or around Brownsville, OR . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-$32/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope:

Perform MIG and/or TIG welding in a shop fabrication environment
-
Complete occasional field welding and installation projects
-
Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and weld symbols
-
Fit, fabricate, and weld components to specifications
-
Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
-
Grind, finish, and inspect completed welds
-
Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
-
Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures
Requirements:
-
Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding
-
Strong fabrication and fitting skills
-
Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings
-
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
-
Willingness to travel occasionally for short-duration projects
-
Ability to lift materials and work in both shop and field environments
-
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Preferred:
-
Structural steel and miscellaneous metal fabrication
-
Carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum welding
-
Plasma cutting and oxy-fuel torch operation
-
Grinding, finishing, and weld inspection
-
Material layout and fit-up
-
Experience with aluminum
-
Forklift or skid steer experience (preferred but not required)
