Job Description

Provides locksmithing services within assigned area of responsibility (AOR). Maintains and opens locks, repairs damaged locking mechanisms, cuts keys, and changes lock combinations, using tools and specialized equipment. May keep records of company locks and keys, and maintain inventory of necessary locks, key blanks, parts, tools and equipment. Completes work orders according to the customer’s needs while adhering to contractual obligations. Ensures that work orders are completed in a timely manner. Performs related manual and administrative tasks as required.

As directed by management, may supervise employees or subcontractor personnel in accordance with the “General Supervisory Duties and Responsibilities” addendum.

Basic Job Requirements

High school diploma / GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and one (1) year to three (3) years related experience.

Other Job Requirements

Requires computer skills and proficiency using email, Microsoft Office or specialized applications as necessary to perform assigned job functions. To ensure compliance with safety, health and security requirements in the contract, employee will possess the ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language at the intermediate level as necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must have a Secret Security Clearance

Installs, maintains, and repairs all door and safe lock components.

Provide 24/7 locksmith services in the AASAB and JSSD-K areas.

Must have experience with Simplex, ISEO, Schlage, Master, and Kwikset lock systems.

Must be Registered GSA Certified Locksmith

Must work with Keystone or other current/equivalent software

Position may be located in a wide variety of environments, from conventional indoor office workspace to project worksites with harsh, working and living conditions.

Requires the job knowledge, skill level and physical ability necessary to perform assigned job functions.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior military and/or contingency experience
