Job Description: Diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing systems in both residential and commercial settings. You will respond to field service calls, troubleshoot complex mechanical and plumbing issues, perform high-quality repairs and installations, and communicate directly with customers while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair plumbing system failures, including leaks, drainage issues, and water distribution problems in residential and commercial facilities.

  • Install, replace, and service water heaters, boilers, pumps, fixtures, valves, and piping systems.

  • Perform drain cleaning, sewer repairs, camera inspections, and troubleshooting of plumbing systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and plumbing schematics to plan and execute work accurately.

  • Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls, including on-call rotations approximately once every six weeks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of plumbing service experience preferred

  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, drainage systems, water heaters, boilers, backflow devices, and pumps.

  • Ability to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues independently, from initial assessment through resolution.

  • Journeyman plumbing or mechanical license preferred.

  • Backflow certification preferred.

  • Experience with commercial service accounts, including healthcare facilities, schools, warehouses, or office buildings.

  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and service agreements.

  • Willingness to ride along with a senior technician or manager during the initial training period before being assigned a service truck.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
