Summary
Our business is growing! We are accepting applications for a Full-Time positions Nationwide.
Under the general direction of the Water Meter Installation Project Manager, the Field Services Technician/Water Meter Installer removes old residential water meters and installs new electronic water meters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-
Installation of new residential water meters, fittings and gaskets.
-
Recording old and new water meter readings.
-
Verification of proper installation/transmission of new meter data by utilizing tablet PC or smartphone.

Coordinates installation scheduling and meets quality/quantity and safety requirements.

Provide for excellence in internal and external customer service. Create a positive experience for customers, water users and communities through professional and courteous behavior and producing high quality results.
Essential Skills & Qualifications:
-
Minimum of one-year field experience in plumbing or water meter installation preferred.
-
Working knowledge of plumbing and water distribution systems.
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Strong ability to use a keyboard and word processing, handheld tablet or other application software as required for the position.
-
Ability to create and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations.
-
Able to work with minimum supervision.
-
Able to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. Some of the work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary.

Able to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner.
Compensation/Benefits:
- Starting Rate of Pay: $12.50 to $22.00 hourly, depending on experience and qualifications.
