What is the role?

As a Jira Administrator , you will own our Jira and Confluence environments and help the entire company get the most out of them. You will be part of EnduroSat's AI team , and beyond Atlassian, you'll administer a growing stack of tools, build automations that eliminate manual work, and act as the go-to person for teams who want to work smarter. This is a role for someone with a genuine technical background who understands automation and integrations, and who is motivated to bring AI tools into everyday admin work — not just someone who configures screens and workflows.

Some of your daily tasks will include:

• Administer Jira & Confluence — manage projects, spaces, schemes, permissions, and user access across the organization

• Build and maintain workflows & automations — design Jira automation rules, Confluence workflows, and integrations with third-party apps

• Manage third-party Atlassian apps — evaluate, configure, and support marketplace add-ons

• Support all teams proactively — onboard new users, run short training sessions, and respond to requests to ensure teams use Atlassian to its full potential

• Administer monitoring and visibility systems for general company data flow monitoring

• Maintain hygiene & governance — enforce naming conventions, archive stale content, and keep environments clean and audit-ready What do we look for?

• Hands-on Jira and Confluence administration experience

• Solid understanding of Jira concepts — projects, issue types, screens, workflows, permission and notification schemes

• Experience building Jira automations

• Technical / IT background with experience managing cloud-based applications, integrations, and user access

• Ability to translate team needs into practical Jira/Confluence solutions

• Genuine motivation and interest in automation and integrations, with a drive to continuously improve how teams work How to stand out?

• Comfort working with AI tools and LLM-powered assistants (e.g., Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate day-to-day work — strong advantage

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers or building/configuring AI tool integrations

• Ability to identify where AI automation can replace repetitive admin tasks and implement it

• Experience with Atlassian marketplace apps (BigGantt, Tempo, etc.)

• Familiarity with REST APIs for Atlassian products

• Atlassian certification (ACP-100 or similar)

• Scripting or basic coding skills (Python, JS, or Groovy) Why EnduroSat?
